Australia’s standout boating showcase is back. From 13 to 16 November 2025, Darling Harbour will host the Sydney International On-Water Boat Show, presented by the Boating Industry Association Ltd (BIA) in partnership with Mulpha Events.  

 

This four-day celebration of Australia’s marine lifestyle will feature more than 150 luxury vessels on display at a purpose-built marina in Cockle Bay, creating a powerful platform for the industry, innovators and new entrants to connect with a high-value consumer audience. 

A vibrant onshore festival precinct will activate along Palm Grove, Tumbalong Boulevard and Tumbalong Park, anchored by the Discover Boating Festival Hub. This space will offer a compelling mix of interactive brand activations, product showcases, entertainment, food and wine experiences and key consumer engagement zones. Flagship experiences will also include the Wine Selectors Tasting Deck with guided masterclasses by renowned wine judge Will Figueira and the Mr Consistent Cocktail Garden Bar, offering a range of premium beverage options.   

With more than 60 leading marine brands already confirmed and strong backing from key partners including GMSV, Walcon Marine, Century Batteries, MitchCap, Wine Selectors and Ocean Media, the event will shine a spotlight on the importance of Australia’s boating sector.

The marketing campaign is now in full swing, reaching boating and lifestyle audiences through 2GB Radio, Nine Network on-demand TV, plus print and digital channels including The Sydney Morning HeraldAFRThe Australian and Good Weekend, and extensive paid digital activity across Meta, Google, programmatic platforms and digital out of home across the eastern seaboard, in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Brisbane. The Show is also running a strong social media campaign across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok supported by collaborations with participating exhibitors and stakeholders including Wine Selectors, Oztix, Walcon Marine, Century Batteries, GMSV, Maritimo, Ray White Marine, MitchCap and Mr Consistent. A hosted influencer event is slated for the first day of the Show, with 30 key influencers to be hosted to provide wide awareness and engagement for the Show. 

Broadcast coverage will include live crosses from Darling Harbour on the TODAY Show (Channel 9), bringing the excitement of the event to audiences nationwide. 

With display space now in high demand, on-water pontoons under construction, and strong industry enthusiasm, the 2025 Show is shaping up to be another standout celebration for Australia’s boating community.
